A 15th century timber-framed manor house in the market town of Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. Richard III and Henry VIII both stayed at the Old Hall.

The magnificent Great Hall formed part of Witch-Haven in Level 2.
Team 5 of Series 6 met Greystagg here, exchanging a signet ring (which looked suspiciously like one of Lord Fear's) for instructions on how to command a Pooka named Puck. The bay window is visible on the left, while the door on the right leads out to the southern courtyard.
When Team 6 of Series 6 arrived here, the dais had been replaced by the Descender to Level 3. Ridolfo turned up just in time to supply the password demanded by the Dreadnort.

Gainsborough Old Hall is now owned by English Heritage, and is open to the public as a museum. Websites about it were previously run by Lincolnshire County Council and Friends of the Old Hall.
